    Listen up pricks, this establishment was here before Hyattsville went all pretentious.

    La Fondita is hidden in a neighborhood so you will never find this place unless you research Mexican restaurants in the nearby area (there are plenty in Riverdale) or you just happen to be running along Route 1 alternate or the Anacostia Trail.

    It's an actual house that turned into a restaurant. It looks like crap on the outside and look even worse on the inside. They are able to charge nothing because they don't give two shit about its interior... which is what I want from my Mexican restaurant.

    I would either get the tacos or the breakfast platters. It was all dank. Get anything.

    This place is the real deal!
    Made from scratch dishes by a staff who cares about good tasting food.
    Friendly service and the horchata is really delicious.

    Very  delicious food  of this place  the price are fantastic  ln the dishes  and that the waitresses.are  on the lookout for their customers  are very friendly

    Best Mexican food by far and very cheap. Get the lamb tacos. Very rich but the condiments are awesome- squirt of lime with red and green salsa matches well with the meat mixed with onions and cilantro. It's not on the menu any more but the pumpkin flower quesadilla is excellent. Make sure to get the fresh melon drink - cantelope yum!
